Otto Vaeisaenen is Head of Liquidity, Financing, Collateral and Clearing at The Bank of New York Australia, with responsibility for Australia and New Zealand. In this role, Otto works with institutional clients to optimize liquidity, funding and securities financing strategies across global markets, helping them manage portfolio efficiency, collateral utilization and financing outcomes at scale. Otto also leads business development for BNY’s Liquidity and securities financing capabilities across the region, supporting clients with solutions that connect investment, custody, collateral and funding needs. He is a member of the BNY Australia management team, contributing to the firm’s broader strategic direction across Australia and New Zealand. With more than 20 years of experience across Markets, Collateral and Custody, Otto has held senior regional business development and leadership roles across Europe, Africa and the Middle East. He holds qualifications in Business and Hospitality Management from École hôtelière de Lausanne.
